STEM STITCH

STEM STITCH

The control sewn looks like a tiny string. It follows figure magnificently, so it is perfect for setting out physical objects. For this reason it is also called the describe sewn. It is more than twice as solid as the start flossing so it works well for making lines and arises. The terms "stem stitch" and "outline stitch" are used interchangeably, but in a demanding distinction the describe sewn is made with each sewn above the past sewn while the control sewn is made with each sewn below the past sewn.

Things You'll Need

  •     Adornments floss
  •     Scissors
  •     Needle
  •     Fabric
  •     Adornments hoop
  •     Pencil

Instructions
  •  Cut an 18-inch length of start flossing and distinct it into individual hair. Put three hair together and place them into a hook. Troubles the stops of the clothes.
  •  Lay a piece of clothing over the smaller gemstone of the embroidery gemstone. Place the larger gemstone over it. Fasten the twist, if it is a wood gemstone. Plastic hoops just take together; they do not need to be stiffened. Take down on the tips of the clothing until it is firm in the gemstone. Attract a 3-inch pad series across the clothing in the center of the gemstone.
  • Take your hook up through the clothing at the remaining end of the pad series. Develop a 1/4- in. sewn along the pad series.
  • Take the hook up on the pad series 1/8 in. from the remaining end of the series and below the first sewn. Develop another 1/4-inch sewn. Use the tip of the hook to press the first sewn up and out of the way. Take the place restricted.
  •  Carry on appears this way, always getting your hook out almost along the past sewn and below it.
  • End the last sewn at the end of the pad series and knot the place within the clothing. Cut off any excess place.
  Outline Stitch
  •         Prepare your clothing as you did for the control sewn.
  •         Develop a 1/4-inch sewn on the remaining end of the pad series as you did for the control sewn
  •        Develop the second sewn 1/8 in. from the remaining end of the pad series, getting the place up above the first sewn.
  •         Carry on appears this way, starting each sewn by getting the hook out on the pad series almost along the past sewn and above it.
  • Complete the series as you finished the control sewn series.
